GOREgeous in Gore!

Weather plays a huge role in a summer camp experience.

Tomorrow begins the first official day of summer camp at Camp Rock Enon. Hundreds of Cub Scouts, scads of dads, many moms, and legions of leaders will arrive and invade the tranquility.

Right now, the weather looks great for the week. Just the usual chance of afternoon thunderboomers to mess up the lakefront plans.

We have been to CRE for summer camp when there wasn't a drop of rain to be found, searing heat, 50 degree mornings (on the day of the Polar Bear Swim), and constant rain (12 inches in 3 days).

Still, it is perfect. The weather just adds spice to the memories.

See you at camp.
