The Whispering Rock--Edition 5 Volume 1

WELCOME TO THE ROCK!

A Note From Pooh:

When I decided to join Staff in 1996 I never thought it would be such a long term commitment. But I am thrilled to be here and look forward to serving you this week.

As you go throughout this week I want you to look for opportunities to show the Scouting Spirit. If you see a piece of trash “Be Clean” and pick it up and throw it away. If you see someone that looks like they are having a bad day “Be Cheerful” and help them be happy. Do you get the idea? I hope so.

So as I close this little talk I want to say Welcome to Camp Rock Enon and I hope this is the best summer camp experience you have ever had.

THANKS FOR COMING TO “THE ROCK”

ENJOY YOUR STAY!!

A Word from the Writers

We hope you enjoyed today’s edition of The Whispering Rock. We will continue to provide the camp with the latest news. If any troop has anything they would like to be known to the camp at large, please tell either Sharon Winsatt (Buffalo Lodge/ Med. Lodge) or our Editor-In-Chief Greg Holmes (Archery). We will do our best to accommodate this into the next day’s paper. If you cannot find either of us, please write your news down and give it to Pooh, he will make sure that it gets to us. Then check tomorrow’s paper to see your story appear in the paper!

ENJOY YOUR WEEK!!
